A man without a smiling face must not open a shop. - Chinese Sayings
no go!
We shouldn’t set foot outside our house if we’re not smiling! We shouldn’t be talking to another soul if we’re not smiling! Heck we shouldn’t be thinking about anything if we’re not able to smile within! How can we be motivated to do anything if we’re not happy and smiling?

5th Dale Carnegie Principle: Smile!
From the book How To Win Friends And Influence People:
The Value of a smile at Christmas
It cost nothing, but creates much.
It enriches those who receive, without impoverishing those who give.
It happens in a flash and the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.
None are so rich they can get along without it, and none so poor but are richer for its benefits.
It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign of friends.
It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and nature’s best antidote for trouble
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody till it is given away.
And if in the last minute rush of Christmas buying some of our salespeople should be too tired to give you a smile, may we ask you to leave one of yours?
For nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give!!
Daily Affirmation: Today I AM a smile machine!

With great responsibility, comes great power. The more you accept of the first - for your happiness, unhappiness, and all else - the more you are given of the latter. - The Universe
responsibility
The word ‘responsibility’ pretty much defines what we’re to do! We are to respond to life’s situations knowing fully well that we author and authorize our own happiness. We decide how we feel and react to any circumstance.
power
Real power is when we know how to be happy, truly happy, through our own choosing. It’s up to us. Let’s be the change we seek in others!
Daily Affirmation: Today I AM powerful!

If you do not expect the unexpected you will not find it, for it is not to be reached by search or trail. - Heraclitus
getting surprised
The call of adventure, the mystery of the unknown, the scenic view around the next bend of the road, the birthday present wrapped in shiny paper, what would life be without pleasing surprises? How can we be surprised by life all the time?
in the moment
What would happen if we lived truly in the moment and not be straddled by the hurts or memories of the past nor worried about the future? What would be the result of a fearless expectation of the unexpected? A rich hope for that which may happen at any time? What if we expected amazing surprises every day of our lives? What kind of life would that be?
Daily Affirmation: Today I AM expectant of the unexpected!

Who do you love? What are you doing about it? - Questions…
who do we love?
Let’s be very clear about this. Who do we love? Why? To what end? Why is this love important? When we love them what do we feel? What do we want to feel? To what extent have we expressed this love?
expression
Expression equals creation. Until we express something into reality, all we have are thoughts and emotions. It takes thoughts to kick off a creation, but express we must to complete the cycle! Let’s put into expression, in 2012, our love for all who are important in our lives. Can we pledge to that?
Daily Affirmation: Today I express my love!

If there are people at once rich and content, be assured that they are content because they know how to be so, not because they are rich. - Charles Wagner
seeking wealth?
We all seek wealth, success, recognition, a feeling of accomplishment and much more! What are we truly seeking? What is it that we want to feel? What has been most important to us in our lives?
the feeling
What we’re really seeking is the feeling we get from accomplishing or having the things that we seek. For example we seek wealth to feel important, to feel loved and/or to feel secure. It’s important to understand what is it that we seek to feel. Once we clarify that we’ll know what kinds of goals to set, how to use our core values to set such goals and therefore how to be happy and content as we move through life!
Daily Affirmation: Today I AM content!
